TimeBankHub
A NEW HOME FOR TIME BANKING

Time well shared. Communities well connected.

We are creating a home for the idea of time banking — where helping one another is valued, and every hour can make a difference.

THE IDEA

What is time banking?

Time banking is a community exchange model. People contribute their time to help others and record time credits within a participating group. In many time banks, one hour of help counts as one hour, whatever the task.

01

Give an hour

Share a skill, lend a hand or support someone in your community.

02

Record the time

A participating community records the time contributed under its own rules.

03

Request support

Members may use available credits to ask for help, subject to local availability.

OUR DIRECTION

A thoughtful hub for people who help.

TimeBankHub is at an early stage. We are exploring resources that could make time banking easier to understand, organize and grow.

Learn

Clear introductions, practical guides and examples of community time exchange.

Organize

Simple tools and ideas for tracking hours and coordinating local programs.

Connect

Resources to help groups discover and support one another.

An hour of help can mean much more than sixty minutes.

THE SPIRIT OF TIME BANKING
GOOD TO KNOW

A few important questions

Is TimeBankHub a financial bank?

No. TimeBankHub is an informational project about community time exchange. We do not offer deposits, loans, investments or financial accounts.

Are time credits money?

No. Time credits are records used by participating communities. They are not cash, savings or a guarantee that future services will be available.

Can I join or exchange time here now?

Not yet. This is a temporary introduction to a project in development. There are no memberships or time exchanges on this website at present.

Time is valuable. So is helping.

A place for the future of time banking is taking shape.
